Gluten-Free Cheesecake found at The Sweet Hereafter

There are days where I just don't feel like cooking. My boyfriend isn't a huge fan of the cooking idea so we contacted a friend of ours who loves dining out and went out to The Redwood Bar and Grill.

The Redwood Bar and Grill is a great fall-back of gluten-free food in the Clayton Park area. Located off of Lacewood Drive in the Future Inns hotel, they're very accessible from the highway.

The meals offered aren't anything spectacular; they just serve good food and have a fantastic selection of gluten-free eats.

Our friend wanted something spectacular for desert. He placed the idea in our head about cheesecake. Knowing I usually can't eat deserts when dining out, I was no hindrance to the plan to go visit The Sweet Hereafter Cheescakery. After paying our bill, off we ventured into the night towards Quinpool Road.

Upon arriving, I asked the question I'm so use to hearing, "no" to; "Do you serve gluten-free?" To my delight and surprise, they did indeed have two gluten-free cheesecakes available for consumption! There was a very tempting Maple Pumpkin Cheesecake and the winner of my desires, the Chocolate Raspberry. The desert was decadent! The price is fairly reasonable for a slice of desert. I ended up bringing some home with me in a cute take-out box as I was unable to finish it off in one go.

The interior of the cheesecakery is relaxing with a dark wall and a variety of colors and reflective objects sitting around it. The space isn't large and feels very intimate. I think my next date-night may just be coffee and cheesecake.
